The Parlay AS is a call handling platform, based on JBoss AS for enhancement of plain call switching with modern IT-infrastructure and services. The modern requirements of telecommunication services imply higher flexibility, higher value of service to customers and shorter time to market. The application provides a much higher degree of flexibility in service creation at a surprisingly low (relative) cost in performance and stability. It implements the Parlay/SOA standard, which provides an API to integrate intelligent network (IN) services with IT applications via a secure, measured, and billable interface (http://www.parlay.org). For now the project has implemented the CORBA based standard Parlay 3.3. The technological basis of the project is JBOSS / MySQL / Linux.
